Esther Harmon Moore, 1836-1928. Mother of Frank H. Moore. Mother-in-law to Nerva Duff Moore. Grandmother to Esther Leah Bohannon. I think she is the source of Esther's and Chris's fantastic eyebrows.

Born in Mantua, OH where she taught school. Daughter of Samuel Harmon and Jane Deming. Granddaughter of Johathan Deming and Polly Smith. Gr granddaughter of Solomon Deming (1736-1832) and Margaret Bert (his 2nd wife). Solomon was lieutenant of minute men in Lexington Alarm in Berkshire County militia. He was born in Wethersfield, CN and died in Sandisfield MS. This paragraph from Dau Am Rev.

Based on the fashion, this photo was taken in the mid to late 1870s. I appears to be a 'mermaid' style princess dress with the high bustle and train in the back. With the rich accessories, this portrait presents Esther at the height of style and reflects a fair amount of wealth.
