Cousins and their mothers: Emmy Sutton Moore and Dick with Esther Moore Bohannon and Wallace Cleon Bohannon - Sol_JohnGardener
J. Solomon Gardner was the father of Bettie Gardner George. His wife, Bettie's mother, was Emoline Worthy of whom we have no photo (d. 1/28/1880). Bettie was the mother of Ollie George Bohannon. Ollie was the mother of Wallace Cleon Bohannon, father to Kathleen Jane Bohannon. Hence he is our (Leah, Chris, Boh) great, great, great grandfather. In the upper left hand corner is John Gardner, Sol's youngest brother. No date given, but probably 1860s, based on the furniture. - Emmy Lou Sutton Moore, Lewis's wife. 18 years old.

We went to the Atchison museum in search of John Reisner's hotel. Instead, we found this interesting exhibit of corn husk memorabilia. "Between 1895 and 1912 Atchison hosted seven large harvest festivals known as the Corn Carnivals. These huge celebrations lasted from one to three days and drew visitors from across the nation. This event soon gained Atchison an international reputation." - BettyGeoClass

J. C. Reisner, 1796 - 1854. One of 3 sons of Catherine Elizabeth Puh & Christian Phillip Reisner who immigrated from Alsace to Pennsylvania in 1814. Johann Konrad (J. C.)was the older brother to Christian Amandus, father of Leah Bauder Reisner. The man pictured is, therefore, our great, great, great uncle. I have yet to find a picture of great, great, great grandfather Christian Amandus. - Selma, Eva, Oral and Jeff George in front of their home
