- 1946: Wally, Billy Vaughn Cain and Kathy
Billy would have been related through Gram Boh. I'm not certain, but I think one of her siblings married a Cain. - 1946: The proud den mothers
The moms hold up the scouts' signs. Identified are Beer, Gardner, Numbers and Esther at the far right. - 1946: Mrs. Rob George and Billy Vaughn Cain?
Rob George was Gram Boh's brother. We knew him as Uncle Rob. He lived to be one day short of 101. He lived in an old folks home in Plainview. We would visit him when we were there to see Gram Boh. I remember him as a really nice man, lively and friendly. He was wheelchair bound and I can picture him in a hallway and, on a different visit, outside under a spreading tree. Leah, Chris and I amused ourselves on one visit by capturing a large grasshopper and building it a "home" of grass thatch. The boy has a resemblance to Billy, but he is not identified. - 1946: Mary Mocygamba with Suzie
Hm, we seem to be in TX with a woman with a hispanic-sounding name, but I thought Suzie was Gram Bo's. - 1946: JM and Ollie on vacation (Yosemite)
- 1946: "Cubs make road name signs"
