- Wally's newly minted silly smile
They still look great! - Wally tries out GGma's rocking chair and finds it to his liking.
- Wally sports a robot mouth (1970s dial) while sitting in his case
What a kid moment - Wally on his way into the crib...what technique!
Wally climbs into the crib when the gate is lower Oh, and those pajamas, they glow in the dark! Wally picked them out at Costco. - Wally in his rocker
First time Wally pulled the rocker out and climbed in to watch a movie Wally had played around with the rocker (which had been Jerry's) before, but recently has shown a lot of interest in it, perhaps b/c we brought Ggma's rocker into the house. At any rate, he pulled it up to the computer and climbed in to watch a movie and has done so several times now. - Wally and Mommy check out the masticated carrot in his mouth...so funny!
Wally was totally amused to view the contents of his mouth He was giggling so much that I was concerned he might choke...nutty. - Wally and friends
The dogs and Dutch snuggle up to Wally to watch an afternoon flick How sweet is this! It wasn't until after Wally turned two that he started to be interested in the pets. Now he greets them, kisses them on the head, puts his head down on their backs, apologizes to them if he should, and laughs about their antics. - Throwing dirt clods into the yard.
Ok, as long as they don't hit Mommy or Daddy. There is only one picture, but this game went on for some time. - The space invaders land on planet Wally
Wally plays with his new figurines in the grass and dirt pool Jerry dug these cool retro figurines out of his stuff. I gave them to him years ago. Wally just loves them. He wanted to play with them outside so we experimented with them on the sidewalk, in the grass, and, at my prompting, in the pile of dirt left over from digging the garden. - The invasion begins
Wally considers Mommy's provocative placement of the space men. - Taking a bath with your clothes on.
Logan and Wally soak themselves in the water table on a hot day. We took Logan off of Grandma's hands that Friday. Luke had had his tonsils out and was really hurting. After watching Logan for several days, so was Grandma. We played inside with trains, played outside in the water, changed clothes, went to Dierbergs and rode in a rocket cart, ate m & ms, watched Wallace and Grommit and dyed eggs. Not bad, eh. - Let's really study that carrot, shall we?
Close-up of Wally's nearly eaten carrot - Learning to love stickers.
Here's how Wally understands the instruction, "hold out your arms." He got these stickers during his first visit to the dentist. Putting this many on his skin is quite a change from his behavior at Pirate Days in Wentzville last year. The lady stamped his hand upon admission and he tried to pull his skin off. He had pretty much the same reaction to stickers for a long while, too. - Improvements to "my case"
Wally adds Laura's super soft snuggle sack for added comfort So far, Wally is the only one who loves Laura's hand-made snuggle sack. Yogi won't go in it and Priscilla doesn't bury herself. I thought Dutch might be coaxed into it, but was dead wrong. Wally loves how soft it is and has even tried climbing into it. I think we have forthcoming photos of this. - IMG_9316.jpg
