- "He flies! He flies!"
Of course, he does. All of Wally's toy's fly. - And they fly!
Staging extra-atmospheric attack. - Avalanche! Retreat!
The invaders plummet to the bottom of Mt. Wally. He knocked everyone down into a pile. - Brushing teeth, drinking water, all from the comfort of your own sink
I don't remember how or why this happened. - Crash!
Mommy jammed a few rockets into the dirt and held her breath. I didn't know if he would be amused or distressed. After all, he doesn't like things to get dirty. But he ran with this one. - Daddy and Wally breakfasting before going to Grandpa's birthday brunch
Looking sharp for Cafe Ventana downtown They were looking sharp for the celebration at Cafe Ventana near the Fox. Chris and I went to the art fair since it was Mother's Day weekend. We dined on art, they on freshly made beignets that they watched being made through a window in the floor. One of the bakers made silly faces at Wally much to his delight. - Decorating Daddy!
Wally embellishes Daddy's otherwise unassuming hand. - Dutch tries to get in on the fun
Dutch tries to slip into Wally's case - First successful attempt to climb into the crib
But he makes no attempt to climb out without assistance The gate is down, and he climbed in on his own initiative. Not gracefully, mind you. He got his leg up and went over, landing with his head at a right angle to the rest of him...not an easy thing for mom to watch. But he was thrilled with his new trick and it predictably became a game. However, he needs help getting out, or, rather, jumping out. He climbs up on the rail with me holding his hands and then jumps to the floor–great fun! - From the toys' perspective
The invaders await further commands. - Gathering up the toys
Time to pack it in. - How many ways can a little suitcase be enjoyed?
Wally tests out the little suitcase from GGma's I spotted this little gem as Janice was going through her mother's things. I thought it would be perfect for packing Wally for overnights with Max... and it is. It also reminded me of my little green suitcase that I packed once when I decided to run away. (I ultimately rejected the plan as unfeasible.) I think every child should have their own special "case", as Wally calls it. - IMG_9155.jpg
