- Now we're really having fun!
The blue hands say it all. This was a big step. He went from trying to pull his skin off to remove a stamp at the Pirate Festival to actually enjoying having blue hands. That's progress. - Oh no! It cut up my picture!
It was fun until he realized what was happening. Kids... - Ok, lets get down to business
He's not losing interest, so let's go with it. - Our first snow family
Wally finally started to enjoy the snow and I made the most of it I started making these little snow people. He helped me make hats from leaves. Here he is bringing a stick to add. I used pistachio shells for the noses, giving them a muppet-like appearance and chive pods for hair. Wally kept wanting to make the butts bigger...nutty. - Shooting cars across the table to pass the time.
Chris and Brian fire Sarge at Wally This was a terrific game, enjoyed by all. - Showering with Daddy
Wally gets his final tooth...and all that that implies. What must have been Wally's final tooth, a molar, came in. With it came a flood of diarreah. He woke up with it all over him and was understandably distressed. But it was nothing that a soothing shower with his sweet Daddy could not repair. - Splashing Daddy in the shower
- Taking a bath with your clothes on.
Logan and Wally soak themselves in the water table on a hot day. We took Logan off of Grandma's hands that Friday. Luke had had his tonsils out and was really hurting. After watching Logan for several days, so was Grandma. We played inside with trains, played outside in the water, changed clothes, went to Dierbergs and rode in a rocket cart, ate m & ms, watched Wallace and Grommit and dyed eggs. Not bad, eh. - The aluminum fountain for washing your hands at the watercolor station.
I think this was his favorite thing in the entire place. He pressed a red button below to operate it and was pretty pleased with himself. We had literally seconds to check it out before we had to leave. What a great place! We will definitely return. - The black light room
Just about everything glowed! We decorated these wonderful lizards with markers. - The face of over-stimulation.
Wally explores the treasure chest of ribbon. - The gathering: Wally, Abbey, Boh, Evan, Dave, Jill and the pupps
Just trying to get it together - The invasion begins
Wally considers Mommy's provocative placement of the space men. - The space invaders land on planet Wally
Wally plays with his new figurines in the grass and dirt pool Jerry dug these cool retro figurines out of his stuff. I gave them to him years ago. Wally just loves them. He wanted to play with them outside so we experimented with them on the sidewalk, in the grass, and, at my prompting, in the pile of dirt left over from digging the garden. - Throwing dirt clods into the yard.
Ok, as long as they don't hit Mommy or Daddy. There is only one picture, but this game went on for some time.
