Dewing from the 1880s at the Renwick. It was a museum of american fine craft, but the permanent collection was totally unremarkable. They were in between special exhibits. Very disappointing, but I found two great books in their gift shop: one on the history of pigments and one a guide to arts and crafts architecture on a state-by-state basis.
