Our first day, Jen and I went straight to the Museum of Natural History. I took this b/c Jen likes butterflies. The one on the bottom is a grasshopper. - DSC03316

We went there first b/c I read they had a Gem and Mineral Exhibit. My high hopes were justified beyond my wildest dreams. These meteors were cast in space after two asteroids collided, melting their cores. An interstellar iron pour! Awesome! Even better, the meteors were found out West in the 1850s and used by blacksmiths as anvils until a visiting scientis identified it a few years later. - DSC03317

Trying to sneak another pic of the fashion criminal. Just got Jen. - DSC03322
Ooo! There she is again. Not too hard to spot. - DSC03323

The magnificent breakfast prepared by my slave-for-a-week. Juice, bagel, fried egg, bacon, sweetest fried potatos I've ever had...mmm. I can only hope it makes it on the fridge like another photo of a memorable breakfast. Did I say mmmm?
