- Wally and Mommy check out the masticated carrot in his mouth...so funny!
Wally was totally amused to view the contents of his mouth He was giggling so much that I was concerned he might choke...nutty. - And they fly!
Staging extra-atmospheric attack. - Wally's newly minted silly smile
They still look great! - Showering with Daddy
Wally gets his final tooth...and all that that implies. What must have been Wally's final tooth, a molar, came in. With it came a flood of diarreah. He woke up with it all over him and was understandably distressed. But it was nothing that a soothing shower with his sweet Daddy could not repair. - Wally and his new bunny buddy
It was great to see him interacting happily with other animals. - Wally explores the magic of cleverly arranged baking tins and the like.
- Our first snow family
Wally finally started to enjoy the snow and I made the most of it I started making these little snow people. He helped me make hats from leaves. Here he is bringing a stick to add. I used pistachio shells for the noses, giving them a muppet-like appearance and chive pods for hair. Wally kept wanting to make the butts bigger...nutty. - And, here goes the pitch!
He's been throwing pretty far. - The aluminum fountain for washing your hands at the watercolor station.
I think this was his favorite thing in the entire place. He pressed a red button below to operate it and was pretty pleased with himself. We had literally seconds to check it out before we had to leave. What a great place! We will definitely return. - Now we're really having fun!
The blue hands say it all. This was a big step. He went from trying to pull his skin off to remove a stamp at the Pirate Festival to actually enjoying having blue hands. That's progress. - Decorating Daddy!
Wally embellishes Daddy's otherwise unassuming hand. - A picnic dinner at the park in KC. Wally running.
After nap time, we picked up subs and went to a local park to eat so we wouldn't miss out on the nice weather. Wally played in the sand until his privileges were revoked due to sand-throwing. So we tried the swings, but he just threw mulch at us, so Chris and Brian started up a game of frisbee. - First successful attempt to climb into the crib
But he makes no attempt to climb out without assistance The gate is down, and he climbed in on his own initiative. Not gracefully, mind you. He got his leg up and went over, landing with his head at a right angle to the rest of him...not an easy thing for mom to watch. But he was thrilled with his new trick and it predictably became a game. However, he needs help getting out, or, rather, jumping out. He climbs up on the rail with me holding his hands and then jumps to the floor–great fun! - Aunt Chris and Wally at Kalidescope
Aunt Chris tries to get Wally to look in the mirror on a visit to KC We visited Aunt Chris and Uncle Brian over spring break and went to Kalidescope in Hall's Crown Center. We had 45 minutes and barely saw, much less did, anything. But it was great! Chris grabbed as many goodies as she could from each station...what a scrapper!
